Sacramento, CA...Governor Gavin Newsom issued the following statement regarding the death of Los Angeles County Firefighter Andrew Pontious: “Jennifer and I offer our sincerest condolences to the family, friends and entire Los Angeles County Fire Department for the loss of Firefighter Andrew Pontious. His service protecting the Los Angeles community will never be forgotten.”

Mountain Ranch, CA…In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we’re still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Murphys, CA..."Water Tower is this wonderful band that is made up of "the lost boys"... it's like a soup kitchen for those in need of belonging and family who have been through some of the experiences they have overcome" ~ Grand Ole Country Bunker. Frontman Kenny Feinstein has spent more than 15 years curating the band to what it is today. In 2005 he began performing and recording with the Water Tower Bucket Boys then modified members and style as Water Tower String Band. In 2018 he moved from his Portland Oregon roots to Los Angeles where he began the new iteration of the band as known simply as Water Tower.

Valley Springs, CA...Over the last several months, suspect Brandon Francis Condry, age 35, of Valley Springs, has been the subject of multiple investigations. These investigations have involved vandalism, felony domestic violence, felony burglary, felony stalking, battery, felony vehicle theft, felony false imprisonment, brandishing a weapon, and dissuading a witness. The investigation into these incidents resulted in several wants and warrants for the arrest of Condry. Attempts to arrest Condry were deliberately delayed due to assistance from accomplices.
Clements, CA...Firefighters have stopped the forward progress of fire. Near 23000 Blk. East Acampo Rd. Clements (San Joaquin County). The fire was later mapped at 18 acres.
