Mama gave birth to 9 kittens in July of 2023, and was a great little mama to them. 7 survived and were placed in homes with the help of Animal Services and Spence Ranch & Feed.

Sender’s Market Weekly Ad & Grocery Specials Through June 11th! Shop Local & Save!! |
Posted by: thepinetree on 06/06/2024 11:57 AM

Mountain Ranch, CA…In 1950, we started out as a family operation with Erich’s father and mother, August and Freida Sender, in a century-old adobe building. The upstairs was home to the Sender family, and the first floor included groceries, a meat market, a bar, and a small eating place called Opa’s Smokehouse. On Christmas morning in 1968, the old store was destroyed by fire. But in June 1969, Sender’s Market, Inc. was opened. Since that time, there have been many changes, including remodeling, expansion, and the addition of many employees. That’s also when we added the truss plant and purchased Sender’s Market Ace Hardware in Valley Springs. Today, we’re still family owned and still working hard to stock everything from pantry essentials to power tools. Whether you’ve got questions about the perfect cut of meat or the right kind of paint, our helpful, knowledgeable staff has you covered. Click on images below for larger versions

The funds are part of the Section 219 Environmental Infrastructure program run by the Army Corps, which released its Fiscal Year 2024 work plan this week. Shiloh & Glinda Off to the Prom! |
Posted by: thepinetree on 06/05/2024 12:29 PM
|
San Andreas, CA...We would like to introduce SHILOH, a handsome black and white tuxedo who is about a year old. He is at the shelter after being rescued from a home with unhealthy living conditions. Shiloh is our “shy boy.” But after lots of loving attention from shelter volunteers and staff, he is finally coming out of his shell. He is super sweet and gentle and has a calm, quiet personality. His adopter should expect it to take him a while to adjust to changes in a new environment. When Shiloh gets to know you, he is quite loving and can be very playful, especially with a toy on a cat wand. The white whiskers are his trademark.
