Docents in period attire provide demonstrations and history of the times for visitors. If you’re lucky, the gambling table will be set up on the boardwalk for everyone to try their hand at betting against a mining camp gambler. Free Admission. Covid guidelines in effect.

Arnold, CA...(Update as of 9:45am Tuesday morning. Thank You!!! As of right now our first show has had 15,368 Views!!) Tonight is the Premier of "The One Percent" it gets its name from the USDA Study that ranked all 3,111 counties in the lower 48 based on the "natural amenities index". The index hopes to be "a measure of the physical characteristics of a county area that enhance the location as a place to live." Calaveras came in as the 14th ranked county in the whole nation. Our neighbors to the south, north and east all ranked high but came in just a bit lower than Calaveras. So if you average our the counties in our coverage area they all score in the top one percent of places to live in the US.
