Save the Date! Gold Country Roasters and Outer Aisle Foods FREE Public Event!
Murphys, CA... Wednesday, May 21st, 6:30 pm – 9pm at Outer Aisle Foods, 164 Highway 4, Murphys, CA, Gold Country Roasters and Outer Aisle Foods are co-sponsoring a FREE public educational event featuring two eminent experts in the field of sustainable coffee growing, who will discuss the shade grown coffee movement and the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center’s (SMBC) Bird Friendly® coffee certification program. The Bird Friendly® designation is the highest ecological sustainability certification that coffee can be awarded. Coffees that are certified Bird Friendly® are organically grown in strict accordance with rigorous standards developed and overseen by the SMBC. GCR’s new Bird Friendly-certified Peruvian coffee will be available to sample, along with light snacks provided by Outer Aisle Foods.
