Rugby is Your Calaveras Pet of the Week!!
San Andreas, CA...Get a load of Rugby! (A053054), a handsome white and gray tabby junior, 7 to 8 months old. Rugby has an extroverted, exuberant personality and is the first one to greet you when you enter his communal room. Raise your hand when you see the striped spot on his left ankle!
 
This guy is very active, playful, and bursting with love. He loves attention, loves people - he has never met a human he didn’t love - and other friendly kitties. One of his favorite pastimes is gently wrestling with your hand or with the other kitties in his communal room. If you are sitting down, Rugby will immediately jump in your lap and doesn’t seem to mind if there is another cat already there! He has always lived with other cats and is looking for a home where he can get lots of love and attention from humans and ideally find some feline companionship. He has never been outdoors and needs to be kept indoors only. Since Rugby is already neutered, he can go home with you right away.
Please use RUGBY’s intake number (A053054) when making inquiries at the shelter.
All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered cats must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.
Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
When the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off––reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.

Nope didn’t spot the stripe because the striped spot is not on his left ankle, but on his right ankle and left wrist…the way I see it.
