As Abortion Rights Constitutional Amendment Heads to Ballot, Governor Newsom Takes Additional New Action to Protect Women and Providers in California

Sacramento, CA...In November, California voters will have an opportunity to amend the state’s constitution to include the right to an abortion and today, Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order to further protect women coming to California from other states.

“California will not back down from the fight to protect abortion rights as more than half the states in this country, enabled by the Supreme Court, ban or severely restrict access,” said Governor Newsom. “We are ensuring Californians will have the opportunity this November to enshrine the right to choose in our state constitution. And we’re not waiting until November to take action, today’s executive order ensures that the state will not hand over patients who come here to receive care and will not extradite doctors who provide care to out-of-state patients here. In California, women will remain protected.”

The order signed today prevents any information, including medical records and patient data, from being shared by state agencies or departments in response to inquiries or investigations brought by other states or individuals within those states looking to restrict access. The state is expanding efforts to protect women seeking abortions or reproductive care as well as anyone assisting those women.

SCA 10 was passed by the California State Assembly today and now heads to the November ballot.

A copy of today’s executive order can be found here.

Within hours of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last Friday, Governor Newsom signed legislation to help protect patients and providers in California from civil liability for providing, aiding, or receiving abortion care in the state. In addition, Governor Newsom and the governors of Oregon and Washington launched a new Multi-State Commitment to defend access to reproductive health care and protect patients and providers.

The budget agreement announced yesterday includes more than $200 million in additional funding for reproductive health care services. Governor Newsom recently signed legislation eliminating copays for abortion care services and has signed into law a legislative package to further strengthen access and protect patients and providers.

Newsom to Helicopter Drop $17 Billion in “Inflation Relief” Checks
Posted on: 2022-06-28 10:46:56   By: Anonymous

How long until California Democrats beg for price controls as their policies incite even more inflation?

As the Federal Reserve attempts to crush aggregate demand through the most aggressive monetary tightening policies in decades to cool red-hot inflation, California Governor Gavin Newsom has come up with the brilliant idea to stoke even more demand through a new round of stimulus checks.

“Millions of Californians will be receiving up to $1,050 as part of a NEW middle-class tax rebate.

“That’s more money in your pocket to help you fill your gas tank and put food on the table,” Newsom tweeted Sunday night.

The “inflation relief package” is a staggering $17 billion and will provide relief payments on an income-based system. Bloomberg Law provides more details on how the stimulus scheme works for households:

Individuals making as much as $75,000 a year, or joint filers making up to $150,000, would get $350 each plus $350 for one dependent for a maximum of $1,050. Those with income up to $125,000, or $250,000 filing jointly, would get $250 each plus another $250 for one dependent for a maximum of $750. Those earning more than $250,000, or $500,000 filing jointly, would get $200 each plus $200 for one dependent for maximum of $600.

Newsom’s move to tackle high inflation by helicopter dropping billions of dollars in stimulus checks is utter nonsense and will only work counter to what the Fed is ultimately trying to achieve: recession by aggressively hiking interest rates and winding down the balance sheet to reduce aggregate demand, so consumer prices fall.

Newsom’s stimulus checks could temporarily fuel inflation in the state as households would instantly spend the free money on whatever they please. Solving inflation with more government will only worsen the situation. This is also something the Biden administration fails to see.

How long until California Democrats beg for price controls as their policies could incite even more inflation? They can’t keep blaming ‘Putin Price Hike’ if their policies spike inflation.

As no lesser authority than The Wall Street Journal Editorial board succinctly concluded:

“Too bad this bribe, er, incentive to vote Democratic won’t offset the state’s fast-rising cost of living, high taxes or the premium Californians pay for energy, water and housing, among other things, due to progressive policies.”

Once again, you take a news story and you use your facts to deflect what this story was about.
    Abortion.
I believe in the motto about keeping your friends close, your enemies closer.
This means that I watch FauxNews to see what the other side is being told.
Latest. "They" are appalled because Joe Biden has made abortion a political issue.
    Huh?
The SCOTUS made a decision. The people are reacting to that issue.
The majority feel a woman has the right to choose.
The minority feels that an abortion is a moral issue that does not set well with them.
    The majority has spoken.
    The minority has spoken.
    The SCOTUS has spoken.
The majority has a right to protest.
The minority has a right to protest. Instead, they rejoice in the decision.
We live in a Republic. We should do better than this.

If the majority feels the way you claim, than all this is a non-issue as the majority of the States will have legal abortion. Right?

No, the majority don't live in the rural areas of the US.
The problem with this is that the majority live where they can live cheaply. Land ownership is out of the question for most because of the high price of ownership.
Low wages mean that most must live in overcrowded areas, and have access to basic needs like food, water, living environment, Healthcare, and cheap transportation.
The minority, that live in rural areas can't comprehend why anyone would live in a city.
        It's simple.
That's the only place they can afford to live.
Many rural citizens "take" much more than certain urban residents that right now, we call homeless.
The great dilemma that America has become.

(It's you who hates children and wants unrestricted abortion of them) The intelligent have removed their children from the public schools long ago. The intelligent are also still forced to pay for the imbeciles to send their children to be sitting ducks in public schools. The children are sitting ducks because of decisions and voting by individuals just like you. You! Defunding the police, letting mentally ill run wild and attack anyone and everyone, letting felons and thugs run free rather than placing them in prison where they belong. You not wanting to put to death these monsters that live to prey on others. Look in the mirror and see your ugly hypocritical face looking back.

When law and order are thrown under the bus by our leaders, and people are allowed to slide when they break rules and laws, it has consequences. When young people are no longer punished for bad behavior, and they aren't instructed in basic moral values, that also has consequences. Now our society is full of people who refuse to obey rules and laws, and have no moral values whatsoever. And of course it doesn't help when our elected leaders all act like narcissistic children. We have become a nation of unlimited rights, as in everyone seems to believe they have the right to do whatever they want, whenever they want.

Senate Security Chief on January 6 Dies Before Surprise Hearing.
Posted on: 2022-06-28 10:52:07   By: Anonymous

Michael Stenger had previously suggested Capitol Hill riot was the work of “professional agitators”.

Michael Stenger, the former Senate Sergeant at Arms who oversaw security during the Capitol Hill riot on January 6, 2021, has died.

News of Stenger’s death came hours after the Democrat-led January 6 Committee announced a surprise hearing.

Stenger’s death was confirmed late on Monday night by Fox News’ Chad Pergram and Politico’s Katherine Tully-McManus. Stenger’s family has not commented on his death, and the circumstances of his passing are unclear. Tully-McManus stated that Stenger died on Monday morning.

As the Senate’s Sergeant at Arms, Stenger was in charge of security for the upper chamber of Congress on January 6, 2021. Following a speech by then-President Donald Trump that day, a crowd of Trump’s supporters descended on the Capitol to protest the certification of Joe Biden’s electoral victory. Some were waved into the Capitol by police, while others forced their way in. Three protesters died of natural causes and one was shot dead by a Capitol Police officer. A police officer died of natural causes the following day. Two police officers died by suicide later, one of them only four days after the riot.

Hours before the news of Stenger’s death broke, the Democrat-led committee investigating the riot announced that it would hold a surprise hearing on Tuesday to “present recently obtained evidence and receive witness testimony.”

Stenger resigned in the aftermath of the January 6 riot, after a Department of Homeland Security report blamed him – along with former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund and former House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving – for failing to request National Guard assistance in time.

Some Republicans and conservative pundits have suggested that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi influenced the decision not to summon the National Guard, citing “major inconsistencies” in the testimonies of Stenger, Sund, and Irving.

In his own testimony to the Senate after the riot, Stenger called for investigations into the role “professional agitators” may have played in stoking the riot. Stenger never testified to the House January 6 Committee.

Stenger did not elaborate on who these “agitators” may have been, but some Trump supporters have argued that FBI-linked provocateurs were among the mob on January 6, and actively incited the crowd to break the law.

Tuesday’s January 6 Committee hearing features testimony from a former aide to Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows. The meeting was abruptly called in the middle of a week-long Congressional recess, with the committee previously having no plans to hold public hearings until mid-July.

Biden/Dems had 30 plus years to codify abortion rights, BUT DID NOTHING LIKE USUAL
Posted on: 2022-06-28 12:01:08   By: Anonymous

Granted, this was before the SCOTUS decision was made to bring abortion rights back to the States, but all more importantly, why didn't the Democrats ever codify abortion rights, the had the many, many chances for DECADES to do so?
HEADLINE NEWS BLACK AGENDA REPORT
DATED SEPTEMBER 11th 2021

"Democratic Party Leadership Are As Uninterested In Fighting For Abortion Rights As They Are In Addressing Anything Else Their Members Need And Want"

"Most leftists in this country still remain loyal to the Democratic Party despite decades of deception, overt collusion with ruling class interests, and support of U.S. imperialism. The Democrats use a variety of means to keep the support of millions of people who yearn for something other than the excuses and double dealing they are constantly offered.

Pointing to Republicans as the embodiment of all evil is one of their methods, and no issue suits this strategy more than abortion. Democrats point to Republicans’ strict anti-abortion stance to keep their left members in line. Democrats who want to see progressive initiatives enacted still feel tied to their party and convince themselves they have no choice but to be snookered on a regular basis. This dilemma of going along with treachery is particularly acute for Black people. The Republicans are the proud party of white racism and few Black Democrats are willing to declare their independence from their corrupt so-called leaders.

Enter the state of Texas, which passed a draconian law making abortion illegal after six weeks of pregnancy and giving ordinary citizens the right to sue any provider who might violate this legislation. The Supreme Court chose not to hear arguments and allowed the law to come into being.

Democratic party propagandists immediately sprang into action, predicting the end of the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, excoriating anyone who dared to question Democrats, and reviving their cynical attacks on anyone who didn’t support Hillary Clinton in 2016 as being at fault.

Of course it must always be said that Clinton raised more than $1 billion in her campaign but failed to get a mere 78,000 more votes in the swing states that she needed to win. She and her team relied on everything except an old fashioned get out the vote effort, and are responsible for the worst political debacle in U.S. history. Neither she nor anyone else in Democratic party leadership will ever acknowledge how badly they failed their people. They haven’t changed since 2016. They still hope to win by doing as little as they possibly can.
The Texas law spawned hand wringing and foolish deification of the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But like Clinton she bore responsibility for the makeup of the current Supreme Court. In 2013 Barack Obama asked the 80-year old, two-time cancer patient to step down, just in case Democrats lost control of the senate the following year. That is precisely what happened but truth telling doesn’t suit the political image makers.

Even worse, the Democrats lie about their ability to protect abortion rights. They could pass the Women’s Health Protection Act which would make Roe v. Wade federal law and do away with all abortion restrictions across the country. They could have done this when Bill Clinton and Barack Obama had democratic control of both houses of congress and they can still do it now. Democrats have been lying about their ability to protect abortion rights for the past 30 years.

The Democrats constantly treat their members as suckers. They raise millions of dollars claiming that they will stop the Republican onslaught against abortions or some other issue that is important to their voters.. The Women’s Health Protection Act could be passed now but any expectation of that happening is for the suckers to believe. The Democrats claim that it would be too hard to pass because of the filibuster, which they also do nothing about. Round and round they go, with nothing to show except excuses for their inaction. Meanwhile their paid mouth pieces in corporate media use every trick in their worn out playbook to keep the rank and file from noticing they have been conned yet again.

The dysfunctional relationship between the Democrats and their members brings to mind an old saying. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” There is a lot of political shame to go around amongst the Democrats and their hapless members.

There comes a point when the abuser can no longer be blamed. The U.S. political duopoly are like professional wrestlers with phony villains and phony heroes too. At least their fans are in on the joke and know full well that they are watching a theatrical performance. Not so members of the Democratic party. They behave as though conservative Joe Manchin is the only one who can make demands on a president. Their progressive idols are afraid or uninterested in confronting what passes for leadership and theatrics rule the day.

Of course acting to protect abortion rights would make the Democrats more friends than enemies. They would energize millions of people and would be assured victories in most of the country. But the last thing they want is an engaged group of voters. They thrive on trickery and keeping a seat at the table of permanent government. They can then cut deals with their bosses in the oligarchy while millions of people believe they are being represented. Only the rubes are really fighting over abortion"

How sad that the Left Cult voters are taken for a joyless ride by the politicians that they voted for to represent them, failed them. Maybe you marionettes who have been played yet again by 'your' Representatives need to donate more 💰 to their cause...oh...I mean your cause, because they obviously didn't get enough of your money again to actually fight for what you demand, EVERYTHING YOU DESERVE BECAUSE YOU'RE SPECIAL AND IF YOU CAN'T GET WHAT YOU WANT THEN YOU'RE GOING TO LOOT, BURN, DESTROY EVERYTHING IN YOUR PATH, FUK IT IF THE PLACES YOU DESTROY ARE DEMOCRAT/ SOCIALIST BUSINESS OWNERS !!!! YOU ENJOY VIOLENCE, BURNING AND STEALING THINGS BECAUSE THEN YOU GET IT FOR FREE, RIGHT?
And the DA prosecutors and judges let 90% or more of the violent protestors of 2020 walk free by dropping all charges and Biden/ Harris even helped Bail You criminals out no matter how violent you were.
Don't forget, Wear your Mask.

    Ok. You got me there.
Each state will now"codify" abortion rights.
Some states codes will reflect the 1850s way of looking at a woman.
Other states will look like the 1950s.
Other states will look like the 1970s. Early or late in the decade.
    Hoowie.
Some states might even reflect the Present.
How about we look to the future.

        States Rights vs Federal.
Civil War in the 1860s showed that the Federal government has more power than any one, or group of states.
        Slavery.
        Women's right to vote.
        Black voting rights.
        Abortion.
These can be altered by the Federal government. To hand it back to the states means that abortion in some states will be different than other states.
I wonder how many women will make themselves heard.
I wonder how many men feel they have the right to make the decision for all women.

"A dotard also believes that the 1% is looking out for the average American."

Then how is it logical for you to believe that the government, filled with 1%'s, cares about you in any way at all??? Are you the dotard??

It’s a little bit hard to convince America . To bring back someone who even republicans thought needed to be removed by the twenty fifth amendment .

Not me, I can't. But I do know a bunch of Democrats who are masters at stealing elections, so I will ask them.

^Make sure to tell Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Jenna Ellis, Lin Wood, the pillow guy, and the crackpot Kraken lawyer lady too. Cause they're all go'in to jail for sedition, about 20 years, unless you pull through and get them real proof of election fraud. Otherwise STFU.
