Angels Camp, CA...Due to maintenance work 241 customers are having to rely on alternate means of moving electrons. Estimated restoral time is 4pm this afternoon.

Only way to get these idiots to fix their system is to go solar and generator if you can. Make them irrelevant and they they may pay attention

Solar panels use toxic chemicals and produce greenhouse gasses during the entire manufacturing process. After the usable life expires the toxic panels end up in our landfills. Since the panels are 90 percent glass, there is no money in trying to recycle them, so no one does it. We are facing a massive e-waste issue.
Same thing with giant windmills except almost worse because fiberglass isn't recycled at all. No hope.
