Annual John Provart Wrestling Tournament at Bret Harte ~ By Hanna Alldrin
Angels Camp, CA.....The annual John Provart Wrestling Tournament was held at Bret Harte over the weekend. The tournament was named after John Provart, former Superintendent and Principal at Bret Harte over 30 years ago. Six schools participated in the tournament which included Bret Harte, Los Banos, Sonora, Ponderosa, Mariposa, and Sierra Ridge.........

The Provart tournament is a perfect place for teams to get more experience with matches and experience on the mat. Bret Harte Varsity Wrestling Team is full this year with thirteen wrestlers. During the tournament Bret Harte was led by head coach Zach Abernathy who was encouraging and guiding his team towards victory.
