Researchers at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., found that just four weeks of regular yoga sessions significantly reduced the frequency and severity of chronic pain. Not only is Yoga great for stretching and strengthening the body and mind but now it has been proven to act as a pain reliever as well. So those of you that might be feeling stressed, in pain or just plain achy go to your local library check out a yoga DVD or book, sign up for a class, or just take a few minutes to have a gentle yoga practice in the comfort of your own home.
