Public Funding for Private Energy Improvements, AB 811 Study Session...UPDATE...Board in Favor 4-1~Video Replay of Meeting Enclosed
San Andreas, CA...The Board is Currently conducting an AB811 study session that helps private property owners use public funding to improve the efficiencies of their property. Cities and Counties can opt-in to the program and once they do they can provide the service to the residents of their area. Direct costs to the county to get the program started will be approximately $12,500 out of pocket. There will be no longterm costs to the county. If everything goes as planned legally and regulatory, funding for these projects may start coming on line late summer or early fall.

Updated...The Board voted 4-1 with Tryon in the dessent in favor of the County participating in the program.
This was a formality as it will still be sometime until the legal hurdles have all been completed so the County could pass an actual resolution..
