Please Help......The Sally McMillen Memorial Fund
Angels Camp, CA...Hello, my name is Camryn Johnson. I am a senior at Bret Harte High School. As you all know, Sally McMillen, who worked at Starbucks, passed away on the 15th of August. She left behind her daughter Melissa and her son Isiah Martinez. Isiah is my age and he is also one of my closest friends. His sister lives in Monterey, but Isiah who is currently living with a friend, would like to finish his senior year here at Bret Harte...
I talked with one of my teachers, Zach Abernathy, and he and I came up with the idea to start a memorial fund. The fund would be for Isiah so he would be able to pay for his senior expenses: yearbook ($65), senior trip ($200), cap and gown, etc. We are hoping to get donations from some of the local businesses or even from people who care. My goal is for my friends and I to continue fund raising throughout the remainder of the school year. All the remaining money will be split between Isiah and sister, so that he can have help with college.
