Angels Camp, CA....Saddle Queen Applications Now Available. The Calaveras Saddle Queen Competition has become one the Fair’s signature events. The Fair’s scholarship fund will be awarding $2,000 in cash awards to the top three competitors. Young women are judged on their interview skills as well their horsemanship abilities. Saddle Queen applications are available online at www.frogtown.org, at the Fairground Office, or at your local high school office. The 2010 Saddle Queen will be crowning her successor. Miss Marilyn Sanders and her court with the 2011 contestants will be featured at the Whiskerino Dinner Dance on April 30. The Saddle Queen Competition is one of the many arena events being featured at the 2011 Calaveras County Fair, May 19-22.
