SPRING SNOW~by Teri Slankard, The Cabin Realtor

WEATHER: Woke up to about 6 inches of fresh snow from the storm that blew in last night. After mother nature made an attempt to show some blue sky, old man winter got busy again with the white stuff. We'll have at least a foot by the time this system pulls out. Temperatures loomed around 27 degrees this morning and 31 throughout the afternoon. Extra cold temperatures are expected for the next couple of days. Expect some 17 degrees over night.....

BERM HEIGHT: On the shrink - about half of what we had a week ago.
ROAD CONDITIONS: White, then melted off, slushy then white again and then back to pavement - the pavement seems to be trying hard to melt it off. Watch for black ice on the Hwy and in the subdivision.

POWER OUTAGES: Waiting for one to happen - none yet.

AT THE PUMP: I saw $4.03 in Arnold

WILDLIFE REPORT: Small but very rowdy coyote parking herself in the meadow - she's keeping an eye on the ducks and geese. Possible waiting for the nesting to begin. The pups have been upset about some 3 am activity near my office. Sergeant Pepper, the Aussie has a coyote bark, raccoon bark and a distinct bear bark. We're thinking bear. The recent warm weather may have woke a few of them up. Watch your garbage cans!

REAL ESTATE: Median price range for properties sold during this first quarter in Big Trees Village is $250K. A couple of those were short sales, and we do have a few foreclosures in our neighborhood.

If your property is listed for sale right now, be sure to get an update on the comparable sales data so that you are not priced too high for what the market will yield. Buyers are shopping for a deal.
