The Kitchen at Newsome Harlow Presents "Bacon Fest 11!"
Murphys, CA... Downtown Murphys will be smelling like bacon as Newsome-Harlow Wines and The Kitchen at Newsome-Harlow present Bacon Fest 11. Sunday, October 16, from 11:00 am - 5:30 pm. Newsome-Harlow created Bacon Fest as a way to say thanks to its many local supporters. Chef Melly concotes some amazing bacon treats, all that pair perfectly with Newsome-Harlow's award winning red wines. On tap for this year, tempura bacon with sweet chili sauce, peanut butter bacon truffles, and bacon wrapped dates stuffed with gorgonzola. And, of course, chocolate covered bacon and bacon popcorn!....
But wait there is more! Makin' Bacon cooking classes, led by Chef Tony Hinojosa. Tony will show you how to turn pork belly into America's Favorite Meat, as well as share some bacon recipes. Bacon Fest is a free event and open to all. Newsome-Harlow wines will be available to purchase, by the flight, the glass or the bottle. The Kitchen at Newsome-Harlow will be open for lunch.
