Restaurant Class To Help Owners and Managers Starts Soon
Sonora CA..Restaurant owners and managers located in Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Mariposa counties can learn valuable tips on how to make their operations more profitable from national expert Tom Bruce during a two day workshop to be held on October 1 and 15, 2012. With over 35 years of restaurant experience, Bruce has trained hundreds of restaurant owners to compete and be successful, even in lean economic times....
If you are a family-owned and operated restaurant, a one-person food operation, or a sophisticated fine dining establishment with one or multiple locations, this seminar series will help improve your financial “bottom line.” Tom Bruce, a former chef and renowned restaurant consultant, will be teaching owners and managers how to cut costs, target new patrons while retaining loyal customers, and evaluating menu items for their popularity and profitability.
The first day, October 1, includes operational and financial strategies on restaurant management, controlling costs and surviving in lean time, forecasting and budgeting, and reducing controllable costs, maximizing menu selling prices, and increasing profits. The second class on October 15 will cover marketing strategies, including: building sales and guest loyalty, the pros and cons of couponing and discounts, menu design, aggressive sales through higher check averages, suggestive selling and motivational techniques for wait staff, and hiring and training the right people.
