Junior Miss Calaveras Crowned, Jr. Frog Jump Winners Announced

Angels Camp, CA... The Junior Miss Calaveras Pageant and Junior Frog Jump were held concurrently on Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Altaville Melones Fire District station in Angels Camp....



The Junior Miss Calaveras Queen and her court are as follows:
QUEEN: Bailey Van Zant of Altaville
1st Princess: Summer Hamari of Copperopolis
2nd Princess: Grace Garcia of Copperopolis
Bailey and Grace are students at Mark Twain Elementary School and Summer is home schooled.

The Junior Miss Calaveras competition was open to all county eight grade girls. The queen and her court will appear in the upcoming Frog jump parade on Thursday, May 16 and the Jr. Queen will be presented at the Calaveras county fair.

Junior Frog Jump winners are:

As the winner of the Jr. frog jump, Kaylee gains admittance to the final round of jumping at the Calaveras County Fair International Frog Jump Championship on Sun. May 19.
