What's New From Apple is SMUG's October Topic
Arnold, CA...Exploring the newly released Apple products, and those in the near future, will be the major topic when the Sierra Macintosh Users Group (SMUG) gathers for its Tuesday, October 8 meeting that will begin at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District, 1037 Blagen Rd., just off Highway 4. Brian Thomas, Technology Specialist and Trainer for the Calaveras County Office of Education, will be making the presentation and leading the discussion. In addition to talking about the new products, he will also help audience members learn to get the most out of the ones they have.
As is his custom, Thomas will use the evening’s topic to segue into a variety of other informative and entertaining computer-related subjects. Questions are always encouraged at SMUG meetings.
SMUG meets the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are open to everyone and there is no charge to attend. The organization exists to keep Mac users abreast of the latest developments and to address the nagging questions that arise from time to time. Its goal is to take the mystery out of computers and to enable members to take advantage of all the features their Macs possess.
SMUG was founded in 1995 and is a non-profit organization run completely by volunteers. Annual dues are $15. For more information visit the SMUG website at www.SierraMacintoshUsersGroup.org or call 795-3798 or 728-9012.
Event occurs on 10/08/2013 from 07:00 PM to .
