Brenda Lea (Bullard) Jennings 1956-2013
Arnold, CA...Brenda Lea (Bullard) Jennings, 57, of Arnold, passed away on Monday, December 30th, 2013. She was born on March 20, 1956 in Alameda, CA to Allen and Lorna (Wangerin) Bullard. Brenda grew up in Arnold. She attended Hazel Fischer Elementary School and graduated Valedictorian of Bret Harte High School in 1974. After high school she attended Columbia College and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities. She became a real estate broker and co-owner of Allen Bullard Reality which became Century 21 that still exists in Arnold today. In 1986 she sold her share in Century 21 to become a homemaker and manage the family business...
Brenda married Curtis Jennings 1981 in Arnold. They were happily married for 32 years. Brenda was an avid member of the Calaveras Humane Society. She enjoyed the local wildlife, designing and making jewelry, and had a love for plants.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents Lorna and Allen Bullard.
She is survived by her spouse Curtis of Arnold; her daughter Crystal (Brendon) Goldberg of Lodi, CA; her brothers Jerald Bullard of Sonora, CA and Steven (Cheryl) Bullard of Tucson, AZ and her sister Pamela (Tim) Chisholm of Murphys, CA; her grandchild Kysen Goldberg.
The graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at Cherokee Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at 2:00pm at Chapel in the Pines 2286 Cedar Ln. Arnold, CA followed by a potluck reception at the Jennings home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Kyle Mann Fund Stanford University Center for Marfan Syndrome and Aortic Disorders
