Doris Barger, Dr. William Griffin M.D. & More Honored at Golden Health Awards
Murphys, CA...Ironstone's Music room was filled last Saturday night at the medical community and community at large honored the work of Doris Barger, Dr. William Griffin MD, and local organizations. Doris Barger, who at 91 is still active in moving healthcare forward in the area. Her efforts span decades and include being one of the founders of the Mark Twain Medical Foundation. Dr. William Griffin M.D. has been intimately involved in healthcare in the area as a radiologist and also in helping Mark Twain regain it's footing and working to bring rural healthcare management specialist MTMC President,Craig Marks in to lead the organization...

The Calaveras Unified School District's program "Gardens To Grow In" took home top honors and received thousands in dodations to help it move forward as well.
It was a great evening of honoring the achievements and work of the honorees and the dedication of those who work to make our community a better and healthier place.
We have lots of photos and almost an hour of video. If you are a friend of relative of one of the honorees or in need of inspiration that well lived lives can provide, it is a must see.
