Historic Angels Has A New Green Frog Road To Utica

Angels Camp, CA....The Renaissance Team from Bret Harte painted a 'pathway to the park' from downtown Angels. It starts on the sidewalk on the Hardscrabble Lane side of the Visitors Center and go up to Bush Street , turn right and go all the way to the corner of Utica Park. The 'pathway' is about 300 bright green frogs. The students rolled up their sleeves and got to work. This is a project of the Commemorative Committee and was approved by the City and the Planning Commission....

It's an effort to let residents and visitors know that there is an easy and safe route to the park instead of having to walk along Main Street up the steep hill with no sidewalks and lots of traffic.
