TCSO Arrests Two Modesto Residents After Conducting Vehicle Search

Jamestown,CA...Early this morning just after 2 AM, Deputies initiated a traffic enforcement stop in the 18000 block of Hwy 108 in Jamestown on a 2001 white Saturn for suspended registration.

The Deputy contacted the driver, 34 year old Christopher Weber of Modesto and his three passengers. A records check was performed of the four occupants. Results showed Weber had a suspended license and was on probation out of Stanislaus County. A search of Weber and the vehicle was conducted.

Two baggies of methamphetamine, a hypodermic needle and 10 ziplock baggies were found during the search of Weber, the vehicle and in the purse of 23 year old passenger Danielle Swift. Weber and Swift were arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail. Swift admitted she had a glass smoking pipe hidden in her bra and a baggie of methamphetamine in her rear pants pocket.

Weber was booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance for sale and driving with a suspended license.

Swift faces charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
