Jimmy E. Gaylor 1956 - 2018

Burson, CA...Jimmy E. Gaylor, age 61, passed away in his sleep on the night of Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at his home in Burson, CA. He was born on December 25th, 1956 at Castle Air Force Base in Merced, CA to Earl Gaylor and Margaret (Nemec) Gaylor. At the age of 9 Jimmy learned to play guitar, and as he grew older he played bass for a country band called “The Drifters.” He played with The Drifters for 20 years. He loved working outside so much that he became a landscaper for the La Contenta Golf and Country Club for 34 years. Jimmy was a wonderful man. He was a member of the Burson Full Gospel Church for many years. He loved to fish and cook, and he enjoyed helping others. He was loved by many.




He is preceded in death by his father Earl Gaylor and his brother Michael Gaylor. He is survived by his mother Margaret Gaylor, brother David Gaylor, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, and great nephews. Friends, family, and those whose lived were touched by Jimmy are invited to San Andreas Memorial Chapel, 254 West Saint Charles Street in San Andreas, on Friday, May 11th, 2018 at 2:00 pm to reminisce, grieve, support one another, and to chat.
