Reading Rewards Program For Kids Kindergarten through 6th Grade Deadline April 15th

Calaveras County, CA...The theme of the Calaveras County Fair & Frog Jumping Jubilee is "Heard it Through the Bovine." Through the theme, the fair is celebrating reading. To this end, the fair is rewarding students for reading. Young students will get credit for having a parent, grandparent or friend read to them; older students must do independent reading. The program began on March 1st and will end April 15th, 2008. The completed reading log is to be turned into the fair grounds office. Students just record.....


the title of the book and or pages the student reads on the reading log. Students who reach the goal for their grade level will receive a single day admission pass to the 2007 Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee. The student who reads the most in each grade level county wide will receive an admission pass and a book of carnival tickets for the "Midway of Fun."

Kindergarten: 25 Books
First Grade: 25 Books
Second Grade: 25 Books
Third Grade: 25 Books
Fourth Grade: 500 Pages
Fifth Grade: 500 Pages
Sixth Grade: 650 Pages
