Delta Wires Rocked Utica Park on Wednesday Eve for Music in the Parks...Video Enclosed and Photos From Our Sky-Cam!

Angels Camp, CA...The Calaveras County Arts Council has had another great run of "Music In The Parks" this summer. Each Week they have taken their road show to another beautiful venue in the county. The turnouts have been impressive. This week brought Delta Wires a Seven-piece Rhythm and Blues Band Bash to Utica Park. They did a wonderful job entertaining the assembled crowd....

A filled Utica Park on Wednesday Night

I was talking with photographer Mike Neale this week and he said "life is a collection of moments." Wednesday night was another one of those "Moments" in our little county.

With several hundred of our local residents and visitors filling the park, kids playing, Great Music, & Mark Twain's Statue observing the festivities it was another one of those "Moments" that make our area special.

Yes, the economy may not be as robust as we would like it and the real estate values are still feeling the effects of gravity but the Music in the Parks series has provided a great way for everyone to take a couple of hours and appreciate what a great, beautiful and diverse county we have.

The Arts Council Road Show moves to the Cedar Center in Arnold Next Wednesday night.

We have some video clips and pictures for you viewing enjoyment. Some of these were even taken from our "Sky Cam" and show a nice aerial view of the park.

If you are curious our "Sky Cam" is really just a middle aged 250 lb man standing atop the playground equipment.
