Fire Update - Bridge Fire off of Parrots Ferry Now At 25 Acres and Burning on East Side of Parrotts Ferry

Vallecito, CA... There is a vegetation fire near Natural Bridges on Parrots Ferry Rd. - photo below - updates as needed - UPDATE: 11:04 am - water tenders are responding, a plane was spotted. Please use caution in the area. Hopefully it will be knocked down quickly. Update as of 11:15am...The latest from the TCU Command Center is that the fire is 7-10 acres and they are working it hard from air and ground.... Update as of 11:30am...latest from TCU is fire in 10 acre range...so maybe they are getting it slowed down....Update as of 12:05pm...Latest from TCU Command is they have retardant and hose lays around most of the fire. Fire is currently about 15 acres. Update as of 12:25pm...Smoke output has kicked back up again and more resources have been ordered.... Update as of 12:33pm from Lisa Williams....Fire has been spotting and access issues still exist in steep terrain... Update as of 12:48pm...Looks like structure protection is going to start being a focus for some incoming units... Update on fire location...crews are accessing from Camp Nine Road and fire is burning in the area south of Camp Nine and New Melones on the East Side of Parrotts Ferry and not on west side towards Airola Road Etc... Update as of 1:47pm...CAL-FIRE's Lisa Williams let us know that the fire is now at 25 Acres and they are also asking that people look out for fire equipment coming into our area through Angels Camp and also down Parrotts Ferry.

Since its founding well before the Tea Party movement had even been thought of and continuing now with a Taxpayer Alert TV Program. Al Segalla and his merry band of tax vigilantes are present at seemingly every public meeting making sure the Constitution, Private Property Rights and Libertarian views are not swept under the rug of public process. Cross Country Run to Find a Cure for Batten Disease

Vallecito, CA... Noah Coughlan is running for the cure for Batten Disease, a rare brain disease. He's running from San Francisco to Boston. Noah's personal connection to this disease is found in his past. Noah knows two sisters with the rare Batten Disease, one of whom passed within the past year. Several people with Batten Disease live in Utah where Noah expects to get some of the involved families on local TV stations to help heighten the awareness of this horrible and rare disease. He has already been on KTVU Channel 2 and interviewed by several hard copy newspapers. You may have seen him today on Hwy 4 heading up the hill. Vallecito, CA... I am a property owner in Vallecito (20 years) and have some comments re the increase in rates. Prior lawsuit. Prior boards loss $900,000 in a lawsuit (Mid 90's)that should have never gone to trial. The suing party had been on the Water Board. Shows that the Board has made bad decisions in the past and seems to continue to do so. Salaries: Most recent GM salary was around $200,000. Way out of line for the job. What justifies a salary at that level for a small water company...
