Tuolumne County, CA....A vehicle accident with fire is being reported at Camp Seco Road and Sleepy Hollow Road. Units are responding now. No further information at this time. UPDATE #1 (1:05pm) Engine 752 reported from the scene, a solo vehicle in a field and "NO FIRE." Power lines are low to the ground however no power outages in this area. Please use caution in this area emergency units are still on scene.

Truck Transporting Heavy Equipment Cause of Fire at Camp Nine in Vallecito |

Vallecito, CA....CAL Fire states a truck transporting heavy equipment was the cause of a three small fires at Camp Nine in Vallecito on Tuesday. Damages accrued were 2 1/2 acres of vegetation. 1 1/2 acres of vegetation and a small spot fire all in heavy brush. Steep terrain made access and suppression efforts difficult. Winds and low humidity also hindered control efforts. An engine from Murphys will be on scene Wednesday morning. Total dollar damage reported at $800. CAL Fire report enclosed....

Mountain Ranch, CA.....A Vehicle Accident with Fire is being reported on Mountain Ranch Road Near Senders Market. No further information at this time. UPDATE #1 (6:16pm) The fire has been contained, with ambulance still in route to the accident. UPDATE #2 (6:24pm) Minor injuries have been reported with the accident. Tuolumne County, CA....A vegetation fire is being reported at Manor Drive Across from Steiner Drive in Tuolumne County. Units are now diverting from the Tulloch Fire in route to this fire. No additional information at this time. UPDATE #1 (6:21pm) The fire is a small spot fire that has been controlled by locals. All additional units have been cancelled. Updates to come.....

FIRE NEWS.....15-20 Acre Vegetation Fire at Highway 108, East of Tulloch Road....CONTAINED AS OF 7:10pm. |

Jamestown CA....A Vegetation fire is being reported on Highway 108, East of Tulloch Road. Units are responding now. No further information at this time. UPDATE #1 (5:54pm) Battalion Chief 4410 stated that a large column of smoke can been seen from the Sonora area. The fire size is unknown at this time. UPDATE #2 (5:55pm) Tankers from above stated that fire is 10-15 acres in size with a moderate rate of spread. The fire is burning brush and oak, no structures are threatened at this time. UPDATE #3 (6:25pm)The air tankers have arrived on scene and have dropped several loads of gel. This has stopped the forward spread of the fire and engines are attempting to gain access to the south side of the fire. UPDATE #4 (6:39pm) Additional spread of the fire has stopped. The acreage of the fire is now between 15-20 acres. UPDATE #5 (7:10pm) Fire has been Contained

Cause of French Flat Fire Under Investigation Per CAL Fire...UPDATED WITH CAUSE |

Tuolumne County, CA....The fire that occurred at 8900 French Flat Road in Tuolumne County on Tuesday, September 2nd, ended up completely destroying a double wide mobile home and also burned 2 acres of vegetation. Suppression of the wildfire was made difficult by downed power lines in the area. Status of occupancy of the mobile home was not available at the time of this CAL Fire report. Incident remains open as crews continue mop up. CAL Fire reports enclosed.....

Sonora, CA....Fire Investigators concluded that this fire was accidental in nature. It appeared there were no signs of foul play. The victim in this case has not positively been identified. Additional follow up is being conducted by the Corner’s Division to confirm the victim’s identity.....

West Point, CA.....The fire that burned 50 acres of grass, brush, timber and five outbuildings is still being mopped up with crews still on scene as of today. The cause of the the fire is under investigation. Full CAL Fire report enclosed....

Copperopolis, CA...Cause of fire is undetermined for a 2000 Chevy Impala vehicle fire that occurred at 2272 Hwy 4 in Copperopolis on August 30th is undetermined. The engine compartment caught fire and dollar damages are reported at $3,500. Full CAL Fire report is enclosed.....

West Point, CA....Vegetation Fire is being reported that began at 485 Smitty Lane across from Winton Road in West Point. Blue Mountain is reporting a large steady column of smoke. Units are responding now, no further information at this time. UPDATE #1: Engine 4463 was the first on scene and reported the fire at 2 acres in size. The fire has a dangerous rate of spread, burning brush and timber. One structure is immediately threatened. "We are taking action immediately and call for additional units," engine 4463. UPDATE #2: The fire is moving quickly and growing in size. Units are evacuating many structures that are threatened....
