Mokelumne Hill, CA...We were passed along some news that cuts are ahead for local Ambulance service from American Legion due to hard economic times. The Mokelumne Hill Unit will be phased out completely and the hours of an additional Unit will be curtailed. The call volumes have been lower than expected so they feel cuts are necessary...

Copperopolis, C.A....More than 40 people braved the thick fog, hovering slightly above the streets of Copperopolis, so they could attend the Copper Parent Teacher Club meeting Tuesday, January 15th. The meeting, held in the Copperopolis Elementary gymnasium, began at 6 p.m. and lasted more than two hours...
