Angels Camp Thunder meet the Stockton Thunder ~By Dylan Richardson |

Stockton, CA...On October 16th the Stockton Thunder played host to the Angels Camp Thunder a soccer team coached by Rick Peters. This is coach Peters 2nd year coaching in the EPYSL (Ebbetts Pass Youth Soccer League). Coach Peters has contacts with the Stockton Thunder as a multi season ticket holder he thought it would be a shot in the dark to ask if they would like to sponsor his soccer team and they said yes. All of the sponsors really help to keep the (EPYSL) going form season to season. The kids had a real treat in store for them on October 16th they had a great time as they all got to shout LET'S PLAY HOCKEY from the edge of the ice. They had big smiles and were excited as you can see in my video below...

Vallecito, CA....Multiple crews are responding to a vehicle Fire at Hwy 4 and Red Hill Road. Update 3:43pm, Vehicle is fully involved. Eastbound Lane will be blocked for 30 minutes. No spread to wildland. Additional Units are being canceled. FIRE CONTAINED AS OF 3:50PM.

Bret Harte Varsity Soccer Team Clinches League Title With Win Over Calaveras |

Angels Camp, CA...The Bret Harte Varsity Soccer Team clinched their second League in as many years on Thursday night. They are a now a perfect 11-0 in league and 13-2 overall. With two games left in the regular season they are already the Mother Lode League champs and their sights are now set on post season play. We would like to thank Jeff Rasmussen for letting us share his shots from the game. We also have our webcast replay from Dylan Richardson up in our earlier post on the game. The San Andreas Town Hall is the venue for this year’s event. More space will allow attendees to sit and enjoy a buffet dinner, participate in rounds of Xtreme Musical Chairs and bid in live and silent auctions. The unique event begins at 5 p.m. and features art, music, raffles, food and philanthropy fun with auctions of unusual chair art by professional artists, community groups and individuals. Tickets are $25 and go on sale in November....
Butterfly chair “Madis Gras” by Lori Kelly; Framed piece “Wicker Chair, by Marilyn Hinsdale and primary color “Art Chair” by Peter Kelly are just some of the early entries for Chairs 2011.
