Tuolumne County, CA....CAL Fire reported 2 small vegetation spot fires 30 feet apart from each other at 10025 Block Bell Mooney Road at Cross Sierra Railway in Tuolumne County on April 6th. There were no injuries reported. Cause of the fire is unknown. CAL Fire report is enclosed......

CAL Fire reported an escaped debris burn that spread to a small spot of vegetation at 4660 Block Riata Way in the Circle XX Area. There were no injuries and dollar damage reported. Full CAL Fire report enclosed..... |

Wilseyville, CA....There was an escaped debris burn at 4780 June Avenue in Wilseyville on Sunday April 6th. The fire was contained at 1/.4 acre vegetation. No dollar damage or injuries reported. The CAL Fire report is enclosed.....

San Andreas, CA...There was a fire this morning at Hwy 49 and Pool Station Road possibly due to downed PG&E wires. The Little Miner 49'er Preschool was damaged in the fire. Hwy 49 was closed for about 1/2 hour this morning but is now re-opened. Speculation is that the fire may have been caused by a heater in the interior of the structure igniting due to the power fluctuations from the PG&E line that arched. Luckily there was nobody inside. Winton-Schaads Prescribed Burn |

San Andreas, CA....The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) will be conducting a prescribed burn in the Lily Valley area east of West Point. The 6,342 acre Winton-Schaads Prescribed Burn will be divided up into 20-30 acre areas which will be treated starting April 8, 2008 with burns possible through May 31, 2008. One to two CAL FIRE engines along with personnel from Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) will conduct the burn.....

Glencoe, CA...CAL Fire is reporting a 1/4 acre vegetation fire on Thursday April 4th ar 949 Simpson Road in Glencoe. There were no injuries. Cause of the fire was discarded ashes from a wood burning stove. Damages were 1/4 acre vegetation and a camper shell was damaged. No dollar amount reported. Full report is enclosed.....

Angels Camp, CA....CAL Fire reported another escaped debris burn on Tuesday April 1st at 3326 Meacham Road in Angels Camp. The fire spread to a 20' x 20' vegetation spot. No injuries. Report is enclosed.....
