Sonora to Yosemite YARTS Bus Service Begins May 16 |

Sonora, CA... Beginning Thursday, May 16, Tuolumne County Transit Agency and Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS) with Yosemite National Park, will once again team up to offer bus service between Sonora, Groveland and Yosemite National Park. The bus service, which was very popular in 2012, will offer park visitors an easy, comfortable, money-saving way to visit Yosemite without having to drive, fight traffic or search for parking....

San Andreas, CA... A Request For Proposals (RFP) to provide community based support groups addressing mental health has been issued by Calaveras County Behavioral Health Services. Increased access to community based services and reduction of mental illness stigma are the primary goals of the community support groups. Proposals are sought from qualified individuals or organizations for groups in all parts of the county and serving all age groups....

| Arnold, CA... Ebbetts Pass is now open. The high country lakes are still partially frozen, but some of creeks are fish-able. Camping will still be limited to disperse camping as they have still not opened most campgrounds, but are due to open between now and Memorial Day. This week's trout plants include White Pines Lake, Beaver Creek, North Fork of the Stanislaus, Angels Creek, and Lake Alpine... |

Vallecito, CA... One of our favorite competitions of the year is the Riverside International Wine Competition. The level of competition is high and they pull together an excellent corps of judges. It's especially gratifying when we do well in a competition like this....
