Bear Valley Cross Country Opens For 2016/17 Season!

Bear Valley, CA...Today is opening day for the 2016/17 ski season! 10 beginner trails are open and snowmobile groomed for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. We are super psyched to get open on this limited basis. It is a bit thin (9 inches) so perhaps leave your best skis at home. The store is really nicely stocked up for all of your winter needs. Other details: Lessons and rentals available. Meadow Café, sledding and tubing areas not open yet. Hope to see you soon.

Bear Valley, CA....Bear Valley will kick off the 2016-17 winter season today thanks to snowmaking and a little help from Mother Nature. Cub Chair lift will start turning at 9 a.m. and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy an entire weekend of skiing, snowboarding and family activities. The inaugural weekend kicks off with special pricing of $49 for adult and teen lift tickets. The weekend will also feature Bear Valley’s annual Winterfest Celebration in Bear Valley Village, with fun activities for the entire family, bonfires, movies, great food and more. In addition, the Bear Valley Cross Country area opens on Friday, November 25 as well. Murphys, CA...Murphys 4-H is sorry to announce that we will not be holding our annual Christmas Tree sale this year. Due to “logistical” reasons, our supplier in Oregon was unable to provide trees for our lot. We know picking out a tree at the Murphys 4-H Tree lot is a tradition for many, we are hoping it will return next year. !ank you for your past and continued support!
