San Francisco, CA... Every day, electric and natural gas customers throughout the country are being targeted by utility scams. These imposters typically target customers online, in-person and by telephone. And, this year is even worse due to the ongoing financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. PG&E is taking a stand against scammers by joining its fellow electric, natural gas, water utilities and Utilities United Against Scams (UUAS) in helping customers recognize potential bad actors during Utility Scam Awareness Week from November 16-23, 2020.

Murphys, CA...(This is our coverage from last year. With new treatment & vaccine candidates we pray 2021 is nothing like 2020) We live Streamed the event and we are finally getting the rest of EPVMD's Veterans Day Program up. It was another great Veteran's Day and Veteran's Day programs from Veteran's Memorial Park in Murphys. On a sad note the number World War Two Veteran's in attendance dropped to two. Over the last few years the number has dropped from a dozen or so to now this year just two. Everyday the last of the Greatest Generation leaves the stage. The Albert Michelson Elementary school students delivered great addresses and proved that the future of our Republic is in good hands with the future generations.

Stirling is Your Calaveras Pet of the Week! |
Posted by: News_Desk on 11/08/2020 10:26 AM
|
San Andreas... Meet Stirling, a handsome shorthaired solid gray adult. A big boy weighing in at a little over 14 pounds, Stirling has a calm, quiet personality. He is friendly but does not approach you when you enter his communal room, waiting instead for you to make the first move. Stirling has one place in his communal room that is “his spot” and would likely enjoy having a special place of his own in his new home where he could feel safe and secure. Stirling was one of a group of abandoned cats brought to the shelter and has a best buddy who is always by his side. We feel this gentle soul would do well in a calm, adult household with his pal or another friendly adult feline for companionship.
