Master Gardeners welcome the public back to their Demonstration Garden on February 28, 2009. While the garden has been resting Master Gardeners have been busy preparing another series of interesting and informative events for the 2009 season. Held on the fourth Saturday of each month, starting in February and concluding in November, Open Garden Days will focus on production of high yield and continuous crops that are easy to grow in a limited space....

On Saturday, February 28th something BIG will be happening at Tuolumne County Ambulance & Fire Administration building. No, it’s not a fire drill! The Foothill Collaborative for Sustainability (FoCuS) is joining forces with Tuolumne County Master Gardeners to sponsor a Seed and Gardening Book Exchange. Anyone interested in starting a vegetable garden this Spring should attend. If you have seeds you’ve saved, extra seeds you’ve purchased and can share, or if you just want to come and pick up some seeds to start a garden and try some interesting varieties, everyone is welcome.
