Patriot Golf Day at Greenhorn Creek Starting Tomorrow!

Angels Camp, CA....On August 29th through September 1st, Labor Day Weekend, Greenhorn Creek Golf Resort, will be supporting Patriot Golf Day. They are one out of 2,000 golf courses nationwide that will be participating. Golfers will be asked to donate a minimum of $1 to the Folds of Honor Foundation. In addition, Taylormade-adidas Golf has contributed a Limited Edition R7 driver valued at $500 to be raffled off at each participating course. Full flyer enclosed....

Labor Day weekend is this upcoming weekend. Make sure to reserve your favorite campground or cabin. Lake Alpine has been prducing some nicer fish due to the recent trout plants and cooler nights. Trollers should try Apex, Needlefish, and Rapala's behind a small dodger tipped with a nightcrawler or try a flasher/nightcrawler combo. Fly fishermen should try midge flies, woolly buggers, flying ants,nymphs, and sparrow nymphs. Bank fishermen should try nightcrawlers, Gulp Power Eggs, Gulp Power Bait, Gulp Nightcrawlers, floating Power Eggs,and salmon eggs. Lure casters should try Kastmasters, Panther Martin spinners, and Rooster Tails.....

Bear Valley, CA.....The 2nd Annual Bear Valley Adventure Sports Festival has come and gone. It was an exciting weekend of human-powered recreation, education and celebration, plus a refreshing afternoon thunderstorm always adds a little spice. We hope that your visit to Bear Valley exceeded your expectations and look forward to seeing many of you in the future. Plans are already being make for next years event on August 15-16, 2009, so mark your calendars! West World Images was active on Saturday at the festival and had an easy time finding scenery and smiles during the road cycling and bouldering events. This action packed weekend in Bear Valley was fun for all ages and abilities......
