The iPads Have Landed in Avery ~By John Hamilton |

Avery, CA...Last Thursday night the Avery Middle School Library was filled with parents, students and technology fans attending a presentation on the new iPad program for 6-8th graders at Avery. The Vallecito School district is stepping out to the cutting edge for technology in the classroom and for their students. While there will no doubt be some naysayers as to the cost it may actually provide cost savings over the long run. The plan is to start pushing course materials to the devices and save on textbooks. This can provide some very real cost savings..

Last year the children of Avery Middle School were asked to write a letter to the school board detailing what life would be like without music.
