San Andreas, CA....The latest activity logs for the Calaveras County Sheriff's Deputies are enclosed. A couple of snippets...Stolen golf cart found in ditch behind cell phone tower. Vehicle was leaving the car show gunning the motor and burning tires...now on fire. Homeowner association is trapping animals. Residents upset.

Burson, CA...The eastbound lane of Hwy 12 is blocked near Hwy 12 and Burson Road by a motorhome vs a Ford Explorer. An ambulance has been dispatched but it is unknown as of yet if there have been any injuries. Please use caution in the area....

Valley Springs, CA...Crews are working an accident that was blocking lanes and on Hwy 12 & Southworth. A large chunk of asphalt was taken out of a lane that will be problem for motorcycles in the area until Cal-Trans can get it patched up. It was a sedan vs pickup accident. Please use caution in the area until the accident clears and the road is patched back up...

Dorrington, CA...Crews are working a pickup vs tree on Hwy 4 near Boards Crossing. In Wallace there is also an ambulance being dispatched to an accident described as on Comanche Parkway South and Hwy 12. It also has that it is at the end of a paved road so look for crews working in the area....

Air Traffic over Calaveras County? Just Rm Fire Air Supprt Heading Home

San Andreas, CA...We have had some inbound questions on if there has been an incident in Calaveras County with the helicopters and low flying aircraft. We just checked in with the TCU Command center to confirm that it was just Rim Fire planes and helos heading back to McClellan. The DC-10s, C-130s and the Blackhawk National Guard Helos are working from there. During the day the helicopters usually work from local retardant mixing facilities and refueling stations and only return home at night.
