Murphys, CA...Yes it's true! Ripley is home, safe, happy and thinner! He was located in Stockton. We received a call and when they described his ID tag and collar, we knew this was the call we had been waiting for all these months. We thank all the hundreds of people who prayed, searched, called with leads, cried and visited VdorA tiredlessly asking about Ripley. SO PARTY ON! Everyone is invited to Ripley's Welcome Home Party, Thurs. 7/18. 3-7 pm at VdorA, 207 Main Str. Ripley and these great lookin cupcakes will be there. Miracles do happen! Thank You for all your support and never giving up on his safe return....

Our Russian Blue Cat short hair, no tail, crossed eyes, escaped our home through the front window, by pushing out the screen. He is friendly, responds to whistle and calling of his name “peter or pee-tee”. We do not know what time he got out, but he’s somewhere. |

Murphys, CA... Everyone is invited to the 64th annual Murphys Homecoming to be held Saturday, July 20, in the cool confines of the town’s historic park. "Homecoming is more than a Murphys celebration,” says Suzanne Friedman, co-president of the Murphys Community Club. “It is a chance to recognize the historical significance of our whole area. We have secured the participation of the Murphys Old Timers, Sierra Nevada Logging, and Angels Camp museums. They will set up booths and display and interpret local history. Several members of our Community Club board will be dressed in period costumes to add authentic ambiance."...

Murphys, CA... Happy 4th of July ...There will not be a membership meeting on the 4th but mark you calendar to join us on July 11th at 8:30 am at Magnolias for our annual budget meeting and update on Dad of the Dead preparations. Again, we need you there to approve the budget so please do try and join us. And, if there's something you'd like to see included in the budget, make sure to contact Jim or Michelle and let them know.
