Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 2″ of new snow in the last 24hrs and 6″ in 36hrs. With a 40% chance of snow showers today and 35F for the high it looks like an unsettled day of weather for skiing and riding. Tonight continued snow shower activity will lead to more snow showers on Friday and Friday night looks to drop 4-8″ of new snow for Saturday. Sunday looks to be clear and sunny at this time then a return of snow showers come Monday and into the first half of the week. Conditions are amazing currently and with 457″ of snow so far this season we look to have awesome conditions well into spring. Our closing date is currently April 21st. Don’t forget about our 2 tickets for $99 every Tuesday and 50% off lift tickets for students and Emergency Responders. Come check out our “Pure Mtn Fun” as we have lots of it going on!

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! 4″ of new snow overnight and light snow is currently falling. The warm front actually allowed snowfall down to lower elevations so no rain fell at the resort. another 1-2″ is expected to fall today as the high could be around 35F with a South wind into the teens and a few gusts into the 20’s. The negative tilt in the approaching trough will shift later today and makes it ways towards the Great Basin. Unsettled weather looks to stick around through the weekend. Not much snow is expected to fall after today so stay tuned as things change I’ll let all ya’ll know the 411. Conditions are amazing currently and with 455″ of snow so far this season we look to have awesome conditions well into spring. Our closing date is currently April 21st. Mind Matters Receives $4,800 Grant from Calaveras Community Foundation

Murphys, CA...Mind Matters, a non-profit clinic located in Murphys that serves individuals and families affected by ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, received a generous grant of $4,800 from the Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) in April 2018. The money was allocated for the purchase of eight Fast ForWord licenses. Fast ForWord, a neuroscience based computer program developed by Scientific Learning (www.scilearn.com) targets foundational cognitive skills including memory, attention, processing and sequencing. These skills are essential for phonics, word fluency, and comprehension.

Bear Valley, CA...Hey Good People! St Patrick’s Day is upon and well……so are some amazing conditions on the Ski Hill. With a high of 45F projected today and ESE winds up to 8mph it looks to be another stellar day of skiing/riding. Monday will also be sunny before Tuesday’s arrival of a wee bit o’ snow in the 4-7″ range by the time it pushes out late Wednesday. A 2nd system will arrive Thursday into Saturday and bring another chance of snowfall but totals for that system are still in flux as the model runs look forward. Conditions are amazing currently and with 451″ of snow so far this season we look to have awesome conditions well into spring. Our closing date is currently April 21st. San Andreas, CA...Join us for a day of fun to support arts in education! Please join us on March 17, 2019 for Ride & Walk4Art in the beautiful California foothills in West Calaveras County. Choose from 2 bicycle rides—25-miles or 45-miles—or an easy 4.5-mile walk skirting New Hogan Lake. ​Afterwards, the Tri-Dam lions will prepare a Chicken-in-a-Barrel lunch. This is the fourth year the Calaveras County Arts Council has held Ride & Walk4Art. Past participants say that this event is the best local bike and walk event, and serves a sensational lunch along with a friendly community atmosphere.
