Both will be held at the Calaveras office of Mother Lode Job Training in December. The workshops is free but pre-registration is required. Murphys, CA....We are writing as concerned citizens of the Highway 4 corridor. You may not be aware of the proposed conditional use permit for the development of the Murphy’s RV & Boat Storage facility, Project 2012-041. This development will be located directly in front of Forest Meadows and across from Northwood Drive. We believe that this project is not a proper commercial development of this parcel, as defined by its zoning, and it is not in the interest of the county or the surrounding community. The industrial nature of the planned development would be offensive and dangerous to the residents and visitors of our hilltop, which is primarily a scenic residential area...

BOE Action Simplifies Pricing for Mobile Food Truck Items |

Sacramento, CA... The California State Board of Equalization (BOE) acted to make pricing of food sold from mobile food trucks more business and customer-friendly. The Board Members’ unanimous vote at their November 19, 2013 meeting will change a regulation to presume that sales tax is included in the listed price of the food.

CDCR Releases Draft Inmate Fire Camp Contract Rate Proposal |
