Another Arrest Made in High Country Burglaries |

Strawberry, CA...From the Tuolumne Sheriff's Dept..."Thanks to tips from our community, we’ve made a second arrest in a string of burglaries in Strawberry. In January 2018, there were several cabin break-ins in the River Drive area. Closets, cabinets and drawers were rummaged through and the homes were ransacked. TVs and credit cards were reported stolen.

Sonora, CA...Lt. Deborah Moss donated this big bear to help bring some smiles to children. He went on a ride along as an honorary deputy sheriff and found a forever home at the Tuolumne County Adult, Child and Family Services visiting room. There, he will help comfort children as they go through difficult times.

Missing Person Shannon David Scott’s Vehicle Located |

San Andreas, CA...On August 29, 2018 at about 11:00am Mr. Scott reportedly departed for a medical appointment at the Sacramento Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center. It was reported that he left the area of Wilseyville (Calaveras County). His appointment was scheduled for 1:30pm, however, Mr. Scott did not arrive to his appointment. He was scheduled to return to Wilseyville on August 29, 2018. Mr. Scott was reported missing by a family member on August 31, 2018 at about 10:30am.

Scam Alert...Caller Impersonating H&R Block Asking About Social Security Numbers |

Angels Camp, CA...Recently, several of our H&R BLOCK Clients have receive phone calls from someone claiming to be with H&R BLOCK. They claim that they have an issue with you or your dependents social security numbers and want you to give them the social security numbers. This is a scam, They are not with H&R BLOCK. Do not give your social security number or any other personal information to anyone on the phone, unless you positively and personal know the caller.
