Angels Camp, CA...Last Thursday night at the Chamber Mixer at Rabobank. The multi-ounce nugget will no doubt make a golden addition for the Bur family. The mixer at Rabobank was very well attended and Rabobank VIPs were even on hand to tout the business and farm friendly programs Rabobank has in place to help local business thrive...

Wells Fargo Foundation Donates $2,500 for Youth Mentoring |

San Andreas, CA...The Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program was honored recently with a $2,500 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation. Longtime mentor and Wells Fargo customer Don Amo brought the mentoring program to Wells Fargo’s attention. Don and his mentee Sam were matched in the program for more than five years before Sam graduated from high school, and they are still close friends. Don is also a member of the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program’s Advisory Committee, where he became aware of the program’s effort to attract Wells Fargo support...

San Andreas, CA..The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce held it's annual Installation and Rewards Dinner last night at the Metropolitan in San Andreas. Awards were given out to highlight those Calaveras County businesses that have done just a little bit more...achieved a role as leaders in our business community, and can be looked upon as examples of how we can go forward in 2012 and make Calaveras County more prosperous.
