Murphys, CA...From a reader..."My husband and I found a sweet male medium sized dog that looks like a mini Aussie. We are keeping him safe at our home but would like to reunite him with his owner. We will have him checked for a chip. Was wearing a collar with no tags. Found in Forest Meadows on Dogwood Dr. Contact Ty at 209-420-8067 or Stacey at 562-777-5996"

Arnold, CA...We will have a bit of everything this week along the West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada. According to NWS Sacramento our outlook is... Today Mostly cloudy. At lower elevations, a chance of rain showers. At higher elevations, a chance of snow showers in the morning, then a chance of rain and snow showers in the afternoon. Highs 33 to 48 higher elevations...46 to 54 lower elevations. No snow accumulation lower elevations...up to 1 inch higher elevations. Snow level 5000 feet increasing to 6000 feet in the afternoon. Prevailing south winds up to 10 mph. Tonight Mostly clear. At higher elevations, a slight chance of rain and snow showers in the evening, then a slight chance of snow showers after midnight. Colder. Lows 18 to 33 higher elevations...31 to 40 lower elevations. Prevailing east winds up to 15 mph.

Arnold, CA...Ebbetts Pass Fire District Needs Your Help Deciding Their Future. December 11th at 6pm, Independence Hall in White Pines. EPFD is funded, in part, by two special taxes that enable us to provide top notch FIRE and EMS services. The first special tax was voted on and passed in 1998. This provided additional staffing as a paramedic within the District 24/7/365. The second was voter approved in 2004. Which funded extra staffing and one full-time, paramedic staffed ambulances and a second full-time staffed fire station.
