02:00 PM Mother Lode Friends of the Music "Biennial Concert"
Dear Friends of Music: The Mother Lode Friends of Music is pleased to announce its biennial concert of young musicians this coming Sunday, May 2, starting at 2 p.m. in the Sutter Creek Church of the Nazarene. The program
will feature the Mother Lode Youth Symphony, under the direction of Hank King, performing works by Vaughan Williams, Holst, Andrew LLoyd Webber and others. In the second half, you will hear performances by the winners of
our Fifth Regional Competition for Young Musicians. You will be dazzled by the talent of these young musicians ages 9 to 18 from the four counties of El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras and Tuolumne, who were selected by a distinguished panel of judges from among a very competitive field.

There is no admission charge, and refreshments will be served. All donations will go to support the Mother Lode Youth Symphony.
