07:30 AM Moke Hill 4th of July Celebration
Mokelumne Hill, CA....Don't miss our annual 4th of July celebration in Moke Hill. Please call me, Terry Weatherby, at 209-286-1412 for additional information. We have the Moke Hill Veterans serving Breakfast at the Moke Hill Town Hall from 7:30 am to 11 am. The Parade start time is 1 pm so we will start assigning entries at the New Fire House around 12 noon. Booth spaces along Main Street should be set up by 9 am or so. Moke Hill Lions will be serving their world famous Bratwurst. San Andreas 49er Breakfast Lions will be serving Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers. West Point Lions will be serving Tacos. A number of other booths will be available. The gunfighters will be performing a show before the Parade and after. The Moke Hill Volunteer Fire Department (Yay!) will be taking on San Andreas Fire Department (Boo!) in the annual Tug-of-War. We look forward to seeing everybody there

10:00 AM 38th Annual Sierra Nevada Arts and Crafts Festival in Arnold
The 38th annual Sierra Nevada Arts and Crafts Festival will be held July 3rd-4th on the grounds of Bristol's Ranch House Café in Arnold.

More than 70 booths of fine arts, crafts and gourmet food are featured at this event. Country/swing music band the Stardust Cowboys from Sacramento and juggler Mark “Bonzai” Bunnell from San Francisco will perform each day. Music show times are noon, 2 and 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday, with “Bonzai” juggling scheduled between those hours.

The annual Ebbetts Pass Independence Day parade will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday on Highway 4. The Ebbetts Pass Lions Club pancake breakfast will be served both days from 7:30 to 11 a.m. The Ebbetts Pass Volunteer Fire Department will sell local beers.
