4th of July in Mokelumne Hill
Celebrate the 4th of July in Mokelumne Hill with a Taste of Americana
Enjoy a traditional 4th of July Parade and Celebration in Mokelumne Hill. The quaint, small-town atmosphere offers a true taste of Americana, and there are lots of fun activities for the entire family starting with a pancake breakfast at the Town Hall from 7:30 – 11:00 am. Be sure to save your place along Main Street to watch the famous parade that starts at 11:00 am, followed by children’s games in the park, vendors, music and food.
Petroglyphe will be open from 10 am to 5:30 pm on the 4th. Be sure to visit the air-conditioned gallery and pick up a brochure of art workshops and Sunday Fine Art Concert Series performances. You won’t want to miss master finger-style guitarist, Alex de Grassi on August 16 or the accomplished Ancora Trio—two flutes and a cello—on September 27. Wine tasting and appetizers are included in the admission price of these fine concerts. Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets early.
The gallery is located at 8317 Main Street in Mokelumne Hill. Give us a call at 209-286-1387 to reserve workshop space or to order your Sunday Concert tickets. We are open Thursday through Saturday from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm; and Sunday from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. For more information visit www.gallerypetroglyphe.com
