All Day Sierra Nevada Logging Jamboree
The Sierra Nevada Logging Museum will be holding its 15th annual Jamboree on September 4th of this year, in White Pines. There will be both non-pro, and pro logging competition, food, raffle prizes, activities, and music after the competition by the Black Irish Band. 10:00 AM Bear Vaalley Soap Box Derby
The Bear Valley Parents Group proudly presents the rd Annual Soap Box Derby and FUNDRiVE, Labor Day Weekend, September 4th, 2010. Register for the race! The race begins at 10.00am, with amusement stalls, food and fun. Racers are aged from 4 to 70, so bring the whole family! We have Youth Class divisions and Open Adult Class where adults can either race our largest cars or build their own-as long as it has official z-glass racing wheels (available at www.aasbd.com) and it must pass our safety check prior to racing.....

We have a variety of volunteer positions available, all hands on deck! We need timers, safety inspectors, amusements stall attendants, food and beverage servers.....the list goes on! Please contact us if you are available to help out.

Bear Valley Parents Group is the nonprofit organization that manages BVSAFE summer camp, preschool and after school programs for families. Soap Box Derby is our number one fundraiser!
