15th Annual Telemark Festival at Bear Valley

Children's Preschool Hour at Moke Hill Library
at the Mokelumne Hill Library on the second and fourth Friday of each month from 10:30-11:30 for a Children's Preschool Hour of fun and activities, including stories and literacy, arts/crafts, music and motor time, and a small snack at the end of the session. How about learning how each seasonal change affects your body and how eating locally creates inner alignment with these shifts
With the New Year just beginning, now is the perfect time to initiate changes in your relationship with how food enters your home.
In this workshop we’ll discuss the following:
Seasonal food cycles
The terms local, organic and sustainable
How eating locally aligns your body with seasonal energies
Our current food system, what it takes to sustain it and how it depletes natural resources
How to make the transition from eating food from afar to eating from our regional foodshed
Learn about Community Supported Agriculture and the benefit to you, your family, community and the Earth
Receive information on local resources, farms and CSA’s and the simple steps you can take to begin now
AND you’ll craft your own regional Food Wheel that will help you transition from one season to the next
Workshop includes a simple, local, handmade organic dish, herbal infusions, handouts of local resources and seasonal recipes!

Live Music at Alchemy, Murphy
Every Friday, Alchemy features jazz standards by Matt Cullen on our patio from 5:30-8 pm. Matt will play with an "enhanced rhythm" section and will sometimes be joined by guests. Hello! Mr. Works came to our home game last night at Mountain Oaks and he suggested sending in the next couple of home games for the school. They are February 11th, starting at 6 pm for the girls team and 7:30 for the boys team and we will be playing Stockton Christian . Our last game of the regular season is February 18th girls team again at 6 pm and boys at 7:30 pm and will be playing Tioga High.

Arnold, CA...Excited yet burdened about male and female relationships, Dr. Emerson Eggerichs and his wife Sarah launched the Love and Respect Conferences in 1999. Based on over three decades of counseling as well as scientific and biblical research, this conference has given hope and new life to thousands of marriages around the country. The Love and Respect Conference is open to the community and is being hosted by the Chapel in the Pines. ...

Black Oak Casino continues to present national touring acts every week, LIVE at Willow Creek Lounge! Whether you enjoy R&B Latin, Classic Rock or the Blues, Black Oak Casino offers an
entertainment lineup that will satisfy any music lover.
With over 200 seats, Willow Creek Lounge is an entertainment venue complete with a full service bar,
dance floor, and video bar top slots. Shows are primarily free, however selected shows may have a minimal ticket charge to provide comfortable crowd size for the venue. For all 8 pm shows, doors will open at 6:30 pm and for all 9pm shows, doors will open at 7:30 pm. Performances that require tickets will be noted on the entertainment lineup, and tickets will be available at The Gift Basket and at www.highsierratickets.com. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis, and you must be seated at the table to save your seat prior to any show. Willow Creek Lounge is a smoke-free venue, and all lounge guests must be 21 or older to attend.
