The Calaveras County Arts Council presents the 2010 Music in the Parks concerts. Shows start at 6:30pm and end at 8:00pm. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic and enjoy these free outdoor concerts! This week features Brad Wilson at West Point Elementary School in West Point. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11 – 7 P.M. – Silent Movie at Bear Valley Music Festival. For a change of pace, the Bear Valley Music Festival will present the silent movie classic “Lilac Time,” starring Gary Cooper, with piano accompaniment in the Bear Valley Lodge. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased by calling (800) 458-1618 or visiting the festival website, www.bearvalleymusic.org. Bear Valley is located off California State Highway 4 on the Ebbetts Pass Corridor just beyond the Calaveras County border.
