The Rail Road Flat Community Club is hosting a monthly pancake breakfast the 2nd Saturday of every month. The cost is only $5 per person. Includes; pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, juice, coffee and tea. This month includes corned beef hash. For questions contact: 754-4882. The proceeds go to the upkeep of the RRF Community Hall. We are having our first Suicide Prevention Walk in Calaveras County! The walk will be held on September 11th at the Bret Harte Track. Registration is at 8:00am. Registration cost $25.00, or at least $25.00 in sponsors! First 75 people to register will receive a Live On! Walk T-shirt. Please come out and support this cause, our community has experienced so much loss due to suicide we could like to raise money to help prevent more suicides to come. If you would like a sponsor sheet emailed to you please email live-on@live.com or you can pick on up at the Angels Camp visitors center. Also we are selling raffle tickets for $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00, there are so many prizes to win from local businesses! Please get involved it would help this nonprofit get out there and continue helping our community by offering free trainings and much more!

Is the daughter of Jordan McLaurin and David Katosic, a former California Grizzlie Team Captain, and both Tuolumne County natives.  Luna has an undiagnosed medical condition that severely limits her mobility.  She is a vibrant 3 year old with a strong spirit and joyful disposition!  The family will use proceeds to assist in the purchase of a wheelchair accessible van.

You wont want to miss the premiere of Cirque du Sonora, the “Circus With a Purpose,” an all-day event, 10am-5pm Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the main lot of Sonora Subaru, the event’s presenting sponsor.
Attending are sixteen diverse local nonprofit organizations that are presenting games and crafts for all ages at this exciting, “Free Admission” event. Each group will have a different game or activity which will serve to raise community consciousness about their work, to meet new volunteers, and to earn funds to support their mission. In addition to the games booths, kids will be able to enjoy a bounce house and waterslide, free courtesy of Tractor Supply Company, and The Tuolumne County Celebrity Dunking Tank, will be operated to benefit Mounted Dream Center. The touring team from First 5 California will be on-hand with all kinds of activities and learning about healthy families, and two groups of local Veteran servicemen will be present to be honored for their service to our country.
Cirque du Sonora will also feature a world-class lineup of acrobatic, musical, and magical talent rarely seen in the Mother Lode.
