The Rail Road Flat Community Club is hosting a monthly pancake breakfast the 2nd Saturday of every month. The cost is only $5 per person. At Home Care will sponsor a holiday fundraiser for the Senior Center Program. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Calaveras Senior Center Hall 956 Mountain Ranch Road. San Andreas.
Home show and craft vendors will be present, selling their goods and donating to the cause. Proceeds will go toward funding for the Senior Center Program

The BARN at Table Mountain Ranch is having an Art Show and Sale for two glorious weekends: December 4-5 and December 11-12, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, each day.
This unique Art show will feature special one-of-a-kind items from local Calaveras County artists, in watercolor, oils, woodworking, mosaics, weaving and basket making, photography and jewelry. In addition, locally produced culinary delights will be available for sale.
The Barn is located at 921 Pennsylvania Gulch Road, Murphys, across the street from Indian Rock Winery. There will be a complimentary artists’ reception on Saturday, December 4th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Please come and join in the festivities.

Charity will be signing not only her latest release Prince Charming, but will have copies of her second edition of Hopefully (now including the sequel Faithfully), From Positive Test to Empty Nest, a humorous journey through motherhood, and Welcome to the Country a collection of her light hearted humor columns available for signing.

The San Andreas Merchants Association is hosting their Annual Victorian Christmas to Remember Saturday, December 11 from 1:00 to 5:30

The day begins with a Victorian Tea upstairs in the beautifully decorated Old Court House. Seatings begin at 2:00, 3:00 & 4:00. Reservations are required. The cost is $5.00 with a canned good going to the Food Bank or $7.50 without a canned good.
Holiday Entertainment will be provided by Hallelujah Ensemble and Heart Strings.

Swing into the Historical Society Book Store and the Arts Council Gift shop and find that Affordable Gift. The Holiday Boutique is underway at Gallery Calaveras! Sip, nibble, shop and avoid the malls as you enjoy a relaxed experience with hot cider, snacks and friendly service. Choose from affordable original art, prints, cards, purses, scarves, jewelry, pottery, and much more . . .

At 5:00 travel across the street , corner of Main and Court Streets, visit with Santa and Mrs Claus singing Christmas Carols and the lighting of the “spectacular” Christmas Tree.

03:00 PM The Symphony of Sierra Opens on December 11th!
The Symphony of the Sierra opens its 2010/2011season with a matinee concert on Sunday, December 11 at 3:00 p.m. in the Dogwood Forum on the Columbia College campus. The symphony will perform the first movement of Beethoven’s 6th Symphony and his March for Small Military Band, Leroy Anderson’s Fiddle-Faddle, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, and a variety of seasonal works. Admission is free.

“Party to the Max” Saturday, December 11th at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora. Doors open at 4:00 pm and dinner will be served from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

If you are unable to attend the party but would like to support Max, the “Max DeLacy Benefit Fund” has been set up at Mother Lode Bank, 172 W. Stockton Road, Sonora, CA 95370.
